NEW YORK - WHILE FIDEL LORENZ TOYED WITH THE YANKEE HITTERS THROUGH FOUR INNINGS - HIS MARLINS TEAMMATES WERE RIPPING THE WRAPPING OFF GIFTS FROM HIS YANKEES COUNTERPART.
LORENZ TOSSED FOUR-INNINGS OF NO-HIT BALL SATURDAY AFTERNOON WHILE SEATTLE POUNDED NEW YORK STARTER JUNG-HEE TSAO FOR FIVE RUNS AT THE SAME TIME AS THE MARINERS POSTED A 9-2 WIN TO TAKE A 2-0 LEAD IN THE ALDS.

SEATTLE GENERALLY ROUGHED UP TSAO STARTING IN THE FIRST INNING. AARON CONNER FOLLOWED EARL DECLAN'S SINGLE WITH A TWO-RUN BLAST TO DEEP RIGHT. MARCO NAVARRO ADDED A SOLO SHOT TO MAKE IT 3-0.
DEREK BINGHAM'S DINGER IN THE NEXT FRAME UPPED THE FLORIDA LEAD TO 4-0 AND A FOURTH INNING RUN MADE IT 5-0.
CHRISTINE DEKHI BROKE UP THE NO-HITTER IN THE FIFTH AS NEW YORK PARLAYED FOUR HITS AND A WALK TO CUT THE GAP TO 5-2.
DECLAN'S HOMER KEYED A THREE-RUN MARINER SEVENTH AS THE SERIES MOVES TO SEATTLE.
TSAO GAVE UP EIGHT HITS AND FIVE RUNS IN THREE INNINGS WHILE LORENZ WENT 8.2 INNINGS, GIVING UP SIX HITS WITH EIGHT WHIFFS.
